Today, thatgamecompany announced the Sky: Children of the Light third anniversary celebration. This begins on Monday with livestreams, in-game items, events, and more. The Secret Area will feature Happy Birthday music sheets for hearts, balloon pops for candles, trivia and a birthday song, and more. The livestream will celebrate the players’ stories and experiences in the game so far with behind the scenes looks at the game and more. Watch the trailer for the ongoing season below:
A new website titled thatskystory will launch on July 21st to let players share experiences and more. The first community event for the game in the form of Sky Assemblies will take place in Long Beach, California on July 21st as well. The final announcement is my favorite because thatgamecompany announced an artbook for Sky: Children of the Light coming soon. More anniversary events and merchandise details are here.
