Ghost Hand is a PS1 styled Sovietwave Metroidvania adventure where a horned girl, who lives in a floating castle, ventures into the outside world that’s ruled by a militarised government.
In Ghost Hand you step into the shoes of Iria – a young girl with horns who lives in the floating castle of Gaya. One day she receives a distress signal from a strange creature and sets off on an adventure in a world that’s unfamiliar to her. It’s a world filled with mythical beasts such as fire-breathing dragons, and it’s also ruled by a man called The Prophet and his militarised government. Iria will have to deal with the military and the monsters throughout her adventure.
Iria has some nifty abilities up her sleeve, with a variety of different melee and ranged attacks, and a cool grappling hook ability. She can also ride on the back of a dragon in some sections for a little aerial dogfighting.
It’s still early in development but Ghost Hand shows a lot of promise. It’s got a very interesting militarised fantasy world, some huge monsters and a very unique 2.5D visual style. Sign up now to give a hand in the playtesting of Ghost Hand!
