Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok is a very addictive Vampire Survivors style rogue-lite horde combat game where brave Vikings attempt to survive at the end of the world.
In Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok the end of the world has happened and Yggdrasil doesn’t have enough energy to sustain the nine realms. A handful of Vikings have survived and must now fight back against the swarms of monsters that are roaming the lands.
The gameplay in Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok is similar to Vampire Survivors, with you attempting to survive for as long as possible against the growing hordes. You don’t need to aim and your attacks fire automatically, so you are able to focus on avoiding enemies and collecting as many XP orbs as possible to level up.
There are three playable heroes in the demo, each of which has their own unique weapons and skill trees. As you level up you can upgrade your character specific stats and you can collect bonus stat upgrades and special new weapons that are added to your skill tree.
It’s a very addictive game that manages to simultaneously be easily accessible and seriously challenging. It’s got a great visual style and the unlocks and upgrades allow you to create some satisfyingly powerful builds. See how long you can survive at the end of the world!
