The SNES/Super Famicom Book | GamesYouLoved

Sam Dyer launched his new book the SNES/ Super Famicom Visual Compendium just under a month ago and yet again aims to bring us a beautiful book full of colour and memories!

Just a few weeks back now Sam Dyer launched his next kickstarter campaign which is now entering into the last 7 days.  The Kickstarter for the SNES book (which will be following on from the NES visual compendium) aims to bring you the usual high quality images, over 500 pages and of course……amazing perks for you backers!

As usual Sam has offered many choices for backers to pledge, and with the popularity of the previous books “Early Bird” pledges were gone within hours of launch! Now, if you have been a follower of Sam and Bitmap Books you know that by trade he was a very creative graphic designer and this shows with the immaculate and crisp design of every single page inside.

Because of the success of the book (and the previous visual compendiums) it will already include over 500 pages, 12 gatefold pages and now the slip case has recently become lenticular! We think this is a very cool and retro touch which adds that little bit of magic that other books do not offer.

One special pledge this year includes not just a chance to get your name in the book as a backer, but you can actually get pixelated into a little 16-bit character!  This is a unique opportunity to have yourself immortalised in pixels and appear in the book. If chosen, you will work with Craig Stevenson to create your character which will then appear within the book in one of the locations. It will also appear at the back of the book within a special backer thanks section.

Ok, so you know how the Kickstarters work, and you know how Sam and Bitmap Books bring you high quality books for the fans by a fan of retrogaming.

The current figure is standing at around the £182,000 mark. It has just 7 days left to run and with the next stretch goal at £185k it is sure to hit that , but could Sam reach an amazing £200k mark?

With your help and the help of many Nintendo fans, maybe he could………
