Dragon Quest Treasures ‘game overview’ trailer now released in English

Dragon Quest Treasures is coming to Switch on December 9th, and it seems like marketing is really ramping up. After getting a new trailer as part of the Tokyo Game Show last week, two days ago, Square Enix released another look at the upcoming title with a game overview trailer. This trailer introduced fans to what the game’s about and how it’ll work, but it was only available in Japanese. Now, an English version has been shared, which you can check out above.

As players start their journey as Erik and Mia, they’ll learn how to fight alongside a team of monster pals and utilize their unique abilities to find hidden treasures and reach otherwise inaccessible areas. The two will also need to protect their treasure from monsters and rival gangs until they can get it back to base to be appraised. Collecting treasure will increase the player’s vault value, allowing them to expand their home base and further build up their brigade of friendly monsters.
