MinisForum UM580 Review (Ryzen 7 5800H)

The MinisForum UM580 has been one of my most anticipated mini PCs in the ~$500 price range, and it does not disappoint. It features the Ryzen 7 5800H, GaN/Alt-Mode power, and a super compact and portable form factor. Not only that, it stands in a class of its own when it comes to PC gaming and emulation at this price. In this video we’ll test its gaming performance and a few other non-gaming tasks like video editing.

UPDATE: I had a chance to test an upcoming build of Batocera v36 and it resolves the issues I had when getting Batocera to boot on this mini PC. So it will be a very capable Batocera mini PC once v36 is released!

This was a review unit sent to me by the manufacturer. All opinions are my own, they did not see this review ahead of time, and no money was exchanged in any way.
