Persona 5 Royal card game adaptation coming Oct. 21st, 2023
Persona 5 Royal is coming to the Switch on October 21st, 2022, but now we already have another Persona-related date to look forward to next year. On October 21st, 2023, Atlus and Pandasaurus Games will be releasing a Persona 5 Royal-themed cooperative card game!
This Persona 5 Royal card game is made by Emerson Matsuuchi, who worked on Century: Eastern Wonders and Foundations of Rome. As for how this adaptation will work, we’ll unfortunately have to wait for details. The only sliver of information we have comes from Matsuuchi, who said players will take on the roles of their favorite Phantom Thieves and fight to change the world.
At least the Oct. 21st, 2023 launch gives us a whole year to enjoy Persona 5 Royal. There’s no doubt we’ll all appreciate the card game more when we finally have a chance to enjoy the multi-award winning game it’s based on!
