GamesYouLoved had first hand experience of seeing the first worldwide reveal of the ZX Spectrum Next by Henrique Olifiers at Play Expo Blackpool on Saturday 30th May.
Below you can watch for yourself the hour long presentation and post launch interview we got with Henrique Olifiers afterwards.
Here Henrique reveals the vision and passion behind rekindling the Sinclair and ZX Spectrum approach to design, functionality, value for money and fit for purpose for gamers and coders alike.
Designed by original Sinclair Research, product designer Rick Dickinson, the ZX Spectrum Next promises to reflect the amazing style and design flair of many of the Sinclair products of the early 1980s.
Alongside Rick and Henrique – they have assembled a core team of experts in the field of hardware and software to make this a strong proposition to their up and coming crowdfunding on Kickstarter. Information on this can be received if you sign up at their website: www.specnext.com – see more on the team below:
Alongside the design and look of the computer – it will pack a serious punch with HDMI outputs and much much more. You get the original experience as a computer as the hardware contains a Z80 processor with the ability to play old classics and more demanding new games made for the spectrum fan even in 2016!
