‘Flying Neko Delivery’ Drops Off Packages by Broomstick

Flying Neko Delivery is a cute, wholesome game where you are a little cat flying around on a broom delivering packages to various people around town.

I got the chance to play a bit of the game at Gamescom this year, putting some packages on my broom and running them to their destination. Flying to your delivery spots is easy, as there are a few meters to show where you need to go and how high up you might need to go to get to the house that is waiting for its delivery. The controls are quite forgiving, and doing things like crashing just simply doesn’t matter. There is no gas to run out of or anything like that.

The thing is, you do not have to just deliver packages. The game itself feels more open world than that; you can also explore, gather plants, find fungus, and just play around with the villagers you meet. The creatures and villagers are all adorable (like your own character), and they often tell you a bit of story when you deliver a package. You might even get hints as to what was in the package! Over time, you can become friends with them, and they can unlock new areas and items for you to discover. You do have your own home within the game too, which you can decorate with new furniture to make it your own.

Flying around the world in Flying Neko Delivery is really relaxing and fun. There are a lot of different magical biomes to explore and gather items from, and they are often really breathtaking to fly through as well. This game just feels soothing as you bring little packages to strangers and enjoy the look of the world as you fly by.

Flying Neko Delivery will be made available today on the Nintendo eShop and Steam.
