Sonic Frontiers has gone gold
Sonic Frontiers is set to launch on Switch November 8th, 2022, which means we’re just a couple of weeks away from seeing how Sonic’s latest adventure shapes up. Many were worried there would be a delay for the title that would push it into next year, but according to the game’s direct, we have no reason to worry.
Sonic Frontiers director Morio Kishimoto took to Twitter to confirm that development on the game is complete. That means the project has ‘gone gold,’ which confirms that physical versions can officially be printed. Kishimoto said the dev team worked tireless right up to the last minute on Sonic Frontiers, so hopefully they’re enjoying a well-earned break right now!
Will Sonic’s jump from traditional 3D adventure to ‘Open Zone’ gameplay prove the next big step for Sonic, or a few steps back? We’ll all find out together come November 8th, 2022!
