Director Rian Johnson says he’s been playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Director Rian Johnson has a number of high-profile creations under his belt. He’s most well known for his involvement with Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Knives Out, and the upcoming Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. As you can see, Rian is quite a busy man, but that doesn’t mean he can’t sneak in a bit of gaming time as well!
In an interview with IGN, Rian Johnson spoke about the games he’s currently playing. Rian says he just downloaded God of War: Ragnarok and recently replayed Grand Theft Auto 5, but the final game Rian mentions is the one we’re most interested in!
According to Johnson, he says he’s in the ‘very last phase’ of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Unfortunately, we don’t get a more specific answer than that, but it certainly sounds like he’s quite close to wrapping things up on that adventure. Now would be a great time to do so, as Tears of the Kingdom isn’t that far off!
