Besides the changes noted on the post, they’ve also confirmed that PS4 trophies are now in-sync with PSN, so that should be a relief for anyone who was looking to completing the game 100 percent.
While it is a bummer that Callisto Protocol wasn’t able to exceed expectations, the game does offer a lot of optimism for the future of sci-fi horror games. The atmosphere is still amazing and if you just tweak the combat and top it off with a solid story, I’m sure we would have a solid hit worthy of the Dead Space mantle.
Set on Jupiter’s dead moon Callisto in the year 2320, The Callisto Protocol casts players as Jacob Lee – an inmate in Black Iron Prison. When a mysterious outbreak throws the moon into chaos, Jacob must face his darkest fears to defeat the bloodthirsty creatures that stalk him as he unravels the dark mysteries at the heart of the powerful United Jupiter Company.
The Callisto Protocol is currently playable for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 4|5.
