Super Mario 64’s Bob-omb Battlefield painting recreated by fan

One of Super Mario 64’s most iconic features is its artwork – the paintings found around Peach’s castle which can be jumped inside of in order to reach new levels. Wouldn’t it be great to have one of those paintings in real life? Well, YouTuber BananaJamana thought so, and decided to make it a reality.

The painting she chose to recreate is the one that represents the very first level of the game, Bob-omb Battlefield. In the above video, you can watch a sped up version of her creative process, then hear her discuss the work once it’s finished. As you’ll see, it’s a lot less pixelated than the one in the game! If you could hang any Mario 64 painting in your house, which one would you pick?
