■ Battle: Basic Actions

The fundamentals of combat are move + one action. Move close to the enemy to attack, run far from the enemy to recover, and so on according to the situation.

Attack

Early on, protagonist Fuji is the character you will rely on most. Deploy ally characters to support Fuji’s attacks.

Special Attack

Magic can be utilized in many ways, such as exploiting an enemy’s weakness or attacking from a distance.

Lift and Throw

In Disgaea games, adjacent characters can lift other characters and objects. By throwing them from the lifted state, you can move long distances or climb high places. Use this series staple technique to gain the upper hand in battle.

■ Battle Tips: Utilize Various Techniques to Defeat Your Enemies

In addition to standard attacks, Disgaea games offer plenty of flashy attacks. Utilize these high-damage attacks in battle!

Standard Attack

When performing an attack in close proximity to an ally, you might activate a Team Attacks, which deals even higher damage to the enemy.

Weapon Skills

As you continue to use your weapon, you will learn even more powerful techniques. Srtonger techniques require more SP, so utilize skills according to the situation.

Dodeka MAX

A new element of Disgaea 7 that turns the character into a giant so big that they stick out of the screen and can attack across a wide range anywhere on the field.

■ Base: Preparing for the Next Battle

Fuji and company’s base is the “Netherworld Ship,” form which they set out to various destinations.

The Netherworld Ship houses various facilities, which will unlock as the player progresses through the story. Purchase equipment, scout and strengthen party members, and prepare for battle.

In order to scout new party members at the Scout Shop, you must have the in-game currency HL to spend.

Accumulate a lot of HL, scout your favorite characters, and build the ultimate army!

—You will only be able to scout a few characters at first, but as you progress through the story, you will be able to scout all sorts of characters.

Characters you have developed can become stronger through “Reincarnation.” By reincarnating a character, their level will return to 1, but the strength of their original class will carry over.

For example, if you reincarnate a developed Warrior into a Mage, you can create a Mage that excels in physical attacks.

Reincarnate and re-training numerous times over will make a big difference. Utilize Reincarnation to develop characters all your own.

—Reincarnation can be performed at The Dark Assembly.

■ Base Prep: Upgrade Items at the Item Worlder

Characters can be reincarnated, so why not items? After upgrading items at the Item Worlds in randomly generated dungeons, peform “Item Reincarnation.” You may even create an item with crazy abilities!

—In Disgaea 7, you can even reincarnate items!

—Clear an Item World to increase the items level, and then reincarnate!

To perform Item Reincarnation, you must clear the Item World of that item. The Item World is a mysterious dungeon within that item. You can challenge them from the Item Worlder.
