Many of us were waiting for the highly anticipated sequel to the indie hit Bendy and the Ink Machine. But the development studio grew silent over the years, and many were worried that the sequel might never be released. Therefore, it came as a huge and positive surprise that they announced the launch of the game only a few weeks ago! And the long wait was worth it, because this game is better than its predecessor in pretty much every way!
We play the character Audrey who gets sucked up in the cartoonish world of ink where Bendy and his friends live. This time you can see that the studio has a much higher budget and talent behind it. The graphics are gorgeous, the animations are really well down and polished, and the voice acting is top notch! But also, in the gameplay department it delivers since every chapter provides with different types of horror and gameplay mechanics. The pacing is great, and I love that they offer some adventure elements in there too where they take it a bit slower. Even though there are a lot of puzzles revolving around finding switches, it never felt repeitive and dull due to the interesting setting and level design that guides you through it. There are plenty of secrets to find as well and overall, this is just a really solid horror game. It’s way beyond the average horror experience that we see so much nowadays and if you are a horror fan you owe it to yourself to check it out. Say hi to Bendy for me!
