Tomb Raider Reloaded – Now Available on iOS and Android

Square Enix has announced the launch of their latest mobile game, Tomb Raider Reloaded. Fans of Lara Croft can now download the game from your local App or Play Store.

Tomb Raider Reloaded is a Roguelike game played very similar to Archero. Besides just killing monsters, the game has more hidden traps and obstacles, and a wide variety of puzzles and mazes for Players to solve.

Gameplay is really simple with its 1-finger tap control. Players can tap on your screen and move Lara across the map with the Virtual Joystick. Release your finger to automatically shoot with Lara’s iconic twin-pistols. Like most Roguelike games, the maps, enemies and traps are randomized differently each playthrough. Each time you level up in the game, you are given 3 different power-ups to choose from. Mix and match your favourite combination that suits your playstyle to overcome the stages.

As you challenge the different stages in the game, there is a chance for you to pick up different weapons and levelling scrolls that can help to permanently upgrade Lara. If you find yourself stuck at any stage, remember to upgrade your gears to improve the combat ability of Lara.

Besides the main campaign, there are other events in the game for Players to challenge and acquire different upgrade materials.

I’ve played a lot of Archero back when it was first released. Tomb Raider Reloaded feels like a 2.0 of the game with upgraded graphics, more puzzles, items, and of course, Lara Croft. This is definitely a must try especially if you’re a Tomb Raider fan.
