How do you make a Legendary Gem in Diablo Immortal?
You can craft Legendary Gems at the Apprentice Jeweler in Westmarch, but you will need to collect a few crafting materials before you can craft your first Legendary Gem.
Step 1: Farm Fading Embers
You can start crafting Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal as soon as you have reached Westmarch and visited the Apprentice Jeweler in the main storyline.
Still, you will need to farm up Fading Embers from doing Crest, or Legendary Crest-powered Elder Rift runs.
Do as many Elder Rift runs as possible because you will need a lot of Fading Embers to get the Runes required to craft a Legendary Gem.
Unfortunately, you can only farm as many as 200 Fading Embers per week, which means it can take up to a few days to farm the Fading Embers required to craft Legendary Gems.
You can speed up the process by partying with friends and asking them to use Crests or Legendary Crests in your Elder Rift runs to push the weekly cap to 320 Fading Embers.
Step 2: Trade Fading Embers for Runes
Once you have enough Fading Embers, head to the Fading Embers and Runes Trader at the Palace Courtyard in Westmarch.
Depending on the Legendary Gem you want to craft, you’ll need a specific number of Runes. You can check many Runes you need to craft the Legendary Gem of your choice by going to the Apprentice Jeweler and selecting your desired Rune. The number and type of Rune required will appear on your screen’s bottom right corner.
With a good idea of the number of Runes required to craft the one or 2-star Legendary Gem of your choice, you can go back to the Fading Embers and Runes Trader to get the Runes you need.
After you have traded your Fading Embers for Runes, move on to the final step.
Step 3: Craft the Legendary Gem
Head to Rakkis Plaza and look for the Apprentice Jeweler. In the Apprentice Jeweler menu, tap or click on ‘Craft.’ This will give you various Legendary Gem options ranging from 1-star to 2-star Legendary Gems.
Provided you have the necessary Runes to craft the Legendary Gem of your choice, just pick the Gem from the list and tap on ‘Craft.’
Alternatively, you can pick the ‘Random Legendary Gem’ option, which gives you a small chance of getting a 5-star Legendary Gem.
Craft ’em All
Crafting is a great way of acquiring some Legendary Gems that can help boost your character’s stats in Diablo Immortal.
There are quite a several Legendary Gems you can choose from at the Apprentice Jeweler, and you can even opt to craft a Random Legendary Gem, which could give you up to a 5-star Legendary Gem in return.
