Gary set to appear in Ash’s final Pokémon anime episode

Ash and Pikachu are scheduled to make their final appearance on the Pokémon anime in just a few weeks. We’ve already learned of Brock and Misty’s cameos in this season, and now it seems that Ash’s longtime rival Gary will be making a return as well.

This info comes from an episode synopsis in a Japanese TV magazine. The episode is titled “Rainbow and the Pokémon Master!”. It will apparently feature Ash’s return to Pallet Town, as he catches up and reminisces with Gary. Will this be a heated meeting, or have the two put their differences behind them? Maybe we’ll get a Pokémon battle rematch to finish things off!
