Former Game Freak dev behind Pokemon Scarlet/Violet’s Tatsugiri and Dondozo designs

Many hardcore Pokémon fans know the name James Turner, as he worked at Game Freak for a number of years on various Pokémon designs and more. While Turner left Game Freak awhile ago to tackle other projects, we now know that James left his mark on Pokémon Scarlet/Violet before moving on.

We now know that Turner was the designer behind Pokemon Scarlet/Violet’s Dondozo and Tatsugiri. Turner revealed this information on Twitter, where he also cooked up some unique takes on his designs via fresh artwork. You can see Turner’s announcement tweets and new artwork below.
