Resident Evil 4 Remake Demo Goes Live
Capcom is currently gearing up for the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake this month, and if you’re still on the fence about getting the game, the studio has released a demo that can give you a good idea of how the remake is going to feel.
Here’s the official announcement:
If you don’t want to download the demo and try it out yourself, IGN has uploaded the entire playthrough on their Youtube channel, and it runs for about 17 minutes:
Granted, the demo could bring some more changes for the game, depending on the data that the devs are going to gather from it, but this looks like a pretty solid sampler of what we can expect with the remake.
With RE 4 being the title that established Resident Evil’s third-person shooter format, this remake should bring everything full circle for any hardcore RE fan.
Here’s the official description:
Survival is just the beginning.
Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City.
Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, has been sent to rescue the president’s kidnapped daughter.
He tracks her to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals.
And the curtain rises on this story of daring rescue and grueling horror where life and death, terror and catharsis intersect.
The Resident Evil 4 remake is set to release on March 24 for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
