Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Golbat Guide
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set during the initial days of the Pokémon world when humans and Pokemon were at odds.
This game occurs in the Pokemon world’s Hisui region, later renamed the Sinnoh region. To complete Hisui’s first Pokédex, which is used to learn about Pokémon, the player must catch every Pokemon in this region.
The player will be part of the Galaxy Expedition Team’s Jubilife Village (also known as the Galaxy Team) as part of the Survey Corps, tasked with researching the Pokemon in the region.
In this guide, we will learn everything you need about Golbat!
Golbat
Golbat, the 35th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Poison and Flying-type Bat Pokemon with a blue body, small eyes, a large mouth with two fangs on top and two on the bottom, a pair of short legs with small feet, small, triangular ears with purple insides, and a pair of large wings with purple membranes.
Golbat sinks its sharp fangs into other creatures to slurp up their blood, according to its Pokedex entry in the game. Furthermore, a closer examination of Golbat’s fangs reveals they are hollow and resemble straws.
Basic Information
Golbat is a Poison and Flying-type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to Electric-type, Ice-type, Psychic-type, and Rock-type moves (super effective), a resistance to Fairy-type, Poison-type, and especially Bug-type, Fighting-type, and Grass-type moves (not very effective), and an immunity to Ground-type moves (no effect).
Golbat’s base stats are 75 HP, 80 Attack, 70 Defense, 65 Special Attack, 75 Special Defense, and 90 Speed for a total of 455.
Golbat is evolved from a Zubat when it reaches Level 22 and will evolve into a Crobat when it has a high Friendship Level.
If the player wishes to lure Golbat with food before catching it, it prefers Hearty Grains, Dazzling Honey, and Plump Beans.
A Spoiled Apricorn and a Chesto Berry are given when a Golbat is defeated or captured.
Location
Golbat can be found in the following locations:
Obsidian Fieldlands: in Deertrack Heights, Nature’s Pantry, and around The Heartwood.
Crimson Mirelands: in Bolderoll Slope, Diamond Heath, and Cloudpool Ridge.
Coronet Highlands: east of Heavenward Lookout, inside Wayward Cave, in Wayward Wood, and Ancient Quarry.
Alabaster Icelands: inside Snowpoint Temple.
The Golbat can be found in the locations mentioned in every weather condition but only here at night.
An Alpha Golbat can be found south of Oreburrow Tunnel (north of The Heartwood and the Grandtree Arena or east of Nature’s Pantry) in the Obsidian Fieldlands and can also be found here in every weather condition but can only be found here at night. The Alpha Golbat that can be found in this location is Level 35.
Aside from that, the player can find Golbat in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Golbat’s Pokedex entry:
Multiplier | Research Task | Objectives |
x2 | Number caught | 1/2/4/10/15 |
Number caught at night | 1/2/5/10/20
Number defeated | 1/2/4/10/15
x2 | Number you’ve defeated with Ice-type moves | 1/2/6/12/25 |
Number you’ve defeated with Psychic type | 1/2/6/12/25
x2 | Times you’ve seen it use Bite | 1/3/6/12/25 |
Times you’ve seen it use Air Cutter | 1/3/6/12/25
Number of different forms obtained | 2 |
The player must complete an objective for a specific Research Task to raise a Golbat’s Research Level by one, except for the objectives with a multiplier of x2, which raises two Research Levels for accomplishing one. The player can finish Golbat’s entry in the Pokedex by getting to Research Level 10.
To quickly complete Golbat’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch five Golbats at night, which ticks the first, second, and third objective of the “number caught” and the “number caught at night” Research Tasks to raise the Research Level to 9 thanks to the x2 multiplier of the former Research Task, and make sure that one of those is a Male and a Female, which will tick the objective if the “number of different forms obtained” Research Task, to reach Research Level 10.
