Watch Gameplay Demonstration for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild had released back in 2017 alongside the Nintendo Switch, and now the company is preparing for the release of the sequel later his year dubbed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Just in, we have a new gameplay demonstration for the sequel, and it features game producer Eiji Aonuma. Check this out:

The video gives us a good look at Link’s new abilities as well as the new feature of this Hyrule being the ‘Sky Islands.’ While the Sky Islands offer for more places to explore for players, the abilities have opened a whole new door for gameplay, especially with Link being able to turn back time on objects as well as swim through ceilings.

Link also comes with a new fuse ability that allows him to put together items to make different kinds of weapons. Fusing doesn’t just stop with weapons either; you can fuse different objects together to make rafts, cars, and even floating machines which will help you traverse the world in any way you want.

With Breath of the Wild being praised for its open world design, Tears of the Kingdom ups the ante by allowing players to craft things with their imagination; and it looks like nothing is going to be off limits. You want to make an extra long spear? Sure. How about a shield with a mushroom on it? Tears is going to make it happen.
