Check out all the mainline Mario Easter eggs from The Super Mario Bros. Movie

We’ve already featured tons of Easter eggs from The Super Mario Bros. Movie, but there are still more to be found. Every frame seems to be packed tight with references to various aspects of Mario’s and Nintendo’s histories. Many of those references are to Mario adjacent spin-off titles, but how many of Mario’s mainline adventures made the cut?

In a new video from GameXplain, every mainline Mario game is covered chronologically, examining just how many Easter eggs were present for each one. From the original Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. arcade games, all the way up to Super Mario Odyssey, how many of these did you manage to catch?
