Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is 100 GB Heavier Than Fallen Order

A lot of fans are excited for the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor this month, and EA has been slowly revealing all the requirements needed for players to run the game smoothly on their system. Just in, we have the file size required for the game—and it’s been revealed to be massive.

According to IGN, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is demanding 155 GB of storage space, that’s 100 GB more than Fallen Order which only needed 55 GB. The numbers actually match that of Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2, which was notorious for its massive scope.

Admittedly Fallen Order was not a perfect game, but it did get a lot of praise for giving fans a AAA Jedi experience infused with some Dark Souls-inspired gameplay. I’m actually hoping the sequel adds more to the adventure aspect with Cal being able to pilot ships and animals, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens with Survivor officially launches in a few weeks.

Here’s the official description of the game

The dark times are closing in as Cal Kestis seeks out a safe haven far from the reach of the Empire. Follow Cal and his crew’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness.

Picking up five years after the events of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™, Jedi: Survivor is a third person, narrative-driven action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 28.
