The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Gets a Final Trailer Before Release
It’s been six years since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched with the Nintendo Switch, but now fans are gearing up for the direct sequel dubbed Tears of the Kingdom. The game is set to come out this May, and we have the final pre-release trailer to get everyone hyped for a return to Hyrule.
Watch this:
Though we have seen the ‘Sky Islands’ in previous trailers for the game, this preview gives us a look at the expanded gameplay options for Link. Not only can he reverse time when it comes to certain objects, but he’s also been given the ability to craft and fuse objects; whether it be for weapons to use in battle, or vehicles that can traverse the sea and sky.
I’ll admit, the game looks pretty large for a console like the Switch, but if Nintendo managed to make it work, I’m hoping Tears of the Kingdom will be another hit for the platform.
The official description reads:
An epic adventure awaits in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, only on the Nintendo Switch system.
In this sequel to the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, you’ll decide your own path through the sprawling landscapes of Hyrule and the mysterious islands floating in the vast skies above. Can you harness the power of Link’s new abilities to fight back against the malevolent forces that threaten the kingdom?
Catch The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom when it launches for the Nintendo Switch on May 12.
