The Super Mario Bros. Movie is now 2023’s highest grossing film with over $500 million

The Super Mario Bros. Movie keeps hitting milestone after milestone with no signs of slowing down. After becoming the highest grossing video game adaptation of all time, it has now become the highest grossing movie of 2023.

At the time of this post, it’s managed to make around $552 million worldwide, and is estimated to hit $659 million globally by the end of the weekend. The previous highest grossing film of 2023 was Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania with around $474 million.
