Pokémon Co. takes over Shibuya to promote Pokémon Horizons: The Series

Pokémon Horizons: The Series, the brand-new Pokemon animated series, has had its hour-long debut in Japan, and fans are already buzzing about what comes next. Those of us outside of Japan will have to wait for localized episodes to release later this year, but fans in Japan got to celebrate the series’ launch in style.

Pokémon Co. put together a special celebration for Pokémon Horizons: The Series, which saw the streets of Shibuya light up with various clips from the anime’s first season. Millions were lucky enough to see some of this advertising in person, but for those who missed out, you can see a recap of the promotions in the video above.

We still don’t have an exact date for Pokémon Horizons: The Series’ premiere outside of Japan, but hopefully when it does arrive, we see Pokémon Co. put together some similar celebrations for NA/EU.
