#GuardiansOfTheGalaxy #Recap #Volume3

Guardians of the galaxy vol 3 is coming out soon, and it will be the final chapter in the outstanding trilogy.

So I’m here to recap everything you need to know about the Guardians of the Galaxy so far, including Vol 1 and Vol 2, all the other films they appeared in.

Alright, let’s start from the beginning, and recap all the story you need about the guardians of the galaxy.

So Millions of years ago, a celestial named Ego came into existence. Yeah, I wasn’t kidding, we’re starting at the very beginning.

The celestials are cosmic gods, that may have created the universe. Ego is an outlier, tho, him being a living planet.

Ego was lonely so he created an avatar for himself and started traveling the universe.

But he was disappointed with what he found, so he decided to remake the universe in his image. He planted his seeds in every world he visited. Ego’s plan is to transform every planet into him. It’s a process called the expansion.

However, to activate his cosmic make-over, he needed an offspring.

So Ego slept with a lot, and mean a lot of alien women, and made tons of kids.

However, Ego couldn’t physically stay away from his planet for too long, this is why he hired a space pirate named Yondu Udonta to bring him his kids once they were grown up.

None of Ego’s kids carries the celestial gene, meaning they couldn’t activate the expansion. So he killed them.

All of them expect one special Star-Boy.

In 1980, Ego fell in love with Meredith Quill. After Peter was born, Ego had to return to his planet, so Meredith raised Peter alone.

With every visit back to Earth, Ego was worried his love for Meredith will prevent him from accomplishing his mission. So he gave her brain cancer.

In 1988, Meredith died. Peter couldn’t handle his mother dying, so he ran away, but then he was abducted by Yondu.

Instead of taking Peter to Ego, Yondu decided to keep him with his crew, That’s after discovering what Ego was doing with his kids.

So Yondu raised Peter like his own son. And Peter became a Ravager.

At some point, Peter started calling himself Star-Lord and he got his own ship, called the Milano. Named after his crush, Alyssa Milano.

Many years earlier, Thanos predicted the annihilation of his people. They didn’t take him seriously, and Titan was destroyed.

After that, Thanos began killing 50% of people in every world in the universe. He believes that if half of the universe was dead it will be saved.

Thanos massacred half of the Zehoberei people, and then he decides to adopt a girl who showed bravery against his soldiers.
That girl was Gamora.

Thanos raised Gamora as the best assassin in the galaxy. And she became his favorite daughter.

Sometime later Thanos got another daughter, Nebula.

At first, Gamora and Nebula formed a strong bond, to the point they actually considered each other sisters.

However, Thanos forced them to constantly fight to test their abilities.

Every time Nebula failed, Thanos replaced her body parts with cybernetics.

Nebula grew to hate Gamora for not sparing her endless torture.

At some unknown date, a raccoon named Subject 89P13 was taken by a being called the High Evolutionary, who genetically and cybernetically enhanced his body.

At some point, he either escaped or was freed and he became Rocket. A bad-ass mercenary.

Afterwards, Rocket became aprtners in crime with Groot, a Flora colossus from Planet X. A talking tree who can only say 3 words: I am Groot.

At some point, Thanos starts working with Ronan the Accuser.

Ronan is a Kree fanatic who refused to accept the peace treaty between the Kree Empire and the Nova Empire, who just wrapped up a thousand-year war.

Ronan left the Kree and formed an alliance with Thanos to destroy Xander.

Also, in the 90s, he almost destroyed Earth, but Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel stopped him.
