DAKAR: Desert Rally (2022) GAME REVIEW – A rally game with an identity crisis
The Dakar rally game series is a long standing franchise spanning multiple consoles and crossing boundaries between Xbox and PlayStation, and with Dakar Desert Rally which was just released on October 4th, it finally makes its debut on the PS5. With a massive event at its core and five vehicle categories to choose from, the potential of the game is certainly promising.
But with somewhat inconsistent physics and a blurring of which parts of the game aim to be a sim and which parts aim to be arcade, or even simcade, its not without some issues. So let’s take a look at Dakar: Desert Rally on the PlayStation 5…
