Pikmin 3 Deluxe has a new Switch menu icon

A new update has dropped for Pikmin 3 Deluxe, and it’s a weird one- the only thing that’s changed is the lettering of the title on the Switch icon. Once you’ve updated Pikmin 3 Deluxe to version 1.1.1, the icon will change from the icon on the left of the arrow in the picture above to the icon on the right.

It seems like this was done for the sake of consistency, as the recently released Pikmin 1 & 2 Switch ports and Pikmin 4 both use the same basic Pikmin logo as this new icon, with a flower serving as the hole in the ‘P’. Hopefully you weren’t too attached to the old Pikmin 3 logo.
