Persona 3 Reload leaker says that there is no Switch version in the works

Ever since Persona 3 Reload was announced, Switch players have been hoping that the remake would arrive on Nintendo’s console as well. While listings for a Switch version of the game were popping up in a couple of places online, it’s seeming less and less likely now.

Twitter user @MbKKssTBhz5 (who initially discovered news of Persona 3 Reload’s existence) now says that they reached out to Atlus, and were told “there is no publisher deal made” and the game “is not coming out to Switch”.

They go on to say that this means a Switch version was not part of the initial deal for Persona 3 Reload. While it’s possible that a Switch version could happen eventually, it doesn’t seem like there are any plans in place for it at this time.

Unfortunately, that’s the way these things go sometimes. For now, Switch fans will have to occupy themselves with the Persona games currently on the platform, as well as the upcoming Persona 5 Tactica (which is definitely confirmed for Switch).
