Devil Engine: Complete Edition heads to Switch Oct. 12th, 2023
The original Devil Engine came to Switch back in 2019, giving shmup fans plenty to rave about. Now 3+ years later, a revamped version is in the works.
Devil Engine: Complete Edition is coming to Switch on Oct. 12th, 2023, as announced by Publishers Beep Japan and developer Poppy Works. This version will see a physical Switch release in Japan as well In Japan, with both the digital/physical priced at 3,980 yen.
Devil Engine: Complete Edition will include the original Devil Engine, along with the “Devil Engine: Ignition” expansion and the bonus title 1993 Shenandoah.
Devil Engine is a high octane, classic styled side scrolling shoot-em-up heavily influenced by the best in the genre from the 32-bit era, featuring a variety of incredible locations, hand drawn pixel art, and a blood-pumping soundtrack that brings the dark future to life.
