“Indecent image” accidentally shown during Super Mario Bros. Movie screening

A screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie at the Waterside Theatre in Londonderry was ruined by an “indecent image” accidentally shown to a crowd of children. Somehow, the movie included “an image of a partially undressed woman” before it was quickly removed.

No one knows how the image in question ended up being shown during the film, but an investigation has been opened to learn more. Since the unfortunate event, the Waterside Theater has apologized for the issue and has pledged to get to the bottom of the situation.

So far, the investigation is focusing on the equipment used to show the film, as it may lead to discovering how the image appeared in the first place.
