Renowned leaker Jeff Grubb has once again drank his herbal tea, entered into a trance and graced us with some predictions of what is to come. On the latest episode of the Game Mess podcast, Grubb revealed a few tantalising snippets of information.
The first is that he believes a Metroid Prime 2 remaster is coming “relatively soonish.” The remaster of the first game well for Nintendo, pulling in just over a million sales in 3 months. While those numbers are not mind-boggling, they are still solid.
The second piece of news Grubb dropped is that he has heard that a “something not Tears of the Kingdom related is happening with Zelda later this year.” He goes on to clarify that he has no idea what this actually means, leaving the door open for plenty of speculation. Could it be a new remaster of a classic Zelda title? Or even news of the rumoured Zelda movie, though that was denied by Nintendo themselves.
Grubb is pretty spot on with most of his predictions and insider information, though I would say that a Metroid Prime 2 remaster was a safe bet anyway.
