A new Lego Harry Potter game was just leaked by Warner Bros. – WGB, Home of AWESOME Reviews

After the massive success of Hogwarts Legacy earlier this year, it looks like the Harry Potter is coming back in Lego form once again.

The news comes via VGC who say someone sent them an image from Warner Bros. Africa’s official Instagram page, showing a Lego minifigure of The Boy Who Loved, along with a date of August 25th which lines up with this years Gamescom. The image also displays the TT Games logo, the developer responsible for all of the past Lego games.

Unfortunately the image was quickly pulled from the Instagram page and VGC say they will not share it due to copyright reasons. VGC say they did reach out to a source of theirs who stated that the game was indeed still in development but couldn’t verify if the ad was real or not.

A new Lego Harry Potter has been rumoured for a while now. Back in March reports circulated that Warner Bros. had cancelled a few Lego game concepts, including one based on the Guardians of the Galaxy that had already been in production for 18 months, but that they were moving ahead with a new Lego Harry Potter game.

It has been speculated that the new Harry Potter title would be similar to the Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which adapted all 9 movies into one seamless package. Perhaps a new Lego Harry Potter could even include the Fantastic Beasts movies as well.

The previous two Lego Harry Potter games, which split the movies into two chunks, are still incredibly fun and great for families. The collection that bundles both games together can picked up super-cheap in sales. And considering the selling power of Hogwarts Legacy and the planned TV revival of Harry Potter, there’s still plenty of interest in the universe.
