Mega Wizards – A work in progress preview of a multi-party game for the Commodore 64
Even though it’s getting really late and I’m almost falling asleep at the keyboard, I thought it best to give a shout out to this game that was mentioned to us through Facebook, and it’s “Retro Gaming with Jeffrey’s” latest Commodore 64 development of ‘Mega Wizards’; A multi-party game that has been teased as a work in progress build! To coincide with this late news story, you can either play the game below or check out the game via Saberman’s video!
Although there is very little to go on about the game, and where this preview came from as I can’t find a source link other than via CSDB. This is what the video descrption says in brief from 2021. “we decided to come up with a temporary smaller game that we should be able to complete fast. Small scope, simple game mechanics and something that isn’t done over and over on the C64. And then we came up with the idea for a Warlords type of game! It’ll not be an exact port of Warlords, but we’ll use it as our inspiration for the basics”
