Activision hasn’t lost its old Transformers games, actually – WGB, Home of AWESOME Reviews

The other day, I posted a story about a Hasbro representative saying that Activision had misplaced the old Transformers games’ hard drives. However, it seems like that isn’t the case.

Lulu Cheng, CCO and EVP of Corporate Affairs at Activision, took to X (that’s Twitter, if you haven’t kept up with the rebrand, to comment that the headlines are wrong.

Meanwhile, Hasbro sent VGC a statement in which they apologised to Activision, stating, “To clarify, comments that suggest Transformers games have been lost were made in error.”

“We apologise to Activision and regret any confusion – they’ve been great partners, and we look forward to future opportunities to work together.”

Hopefully, this odd little story could in fact draw attention back to some of Activision’s Transformers games and result in them once again being available to buy, or on Game Pass like the Hasbro rep suggested.
