PW Crystal Ripple Tail at The Sims 4 Nexus
This tail has two primary uses. The first is the very dark colors are realistic enough to be your next Friesian hair replacer. 🙂 The second is it makes a wonderful hair for fantasy breeds like unicorn if using the game’s unnatural color palette! Since this tail comes in all 36 colors, true to their swatch color, it is provided as an override or standalone. Override will replace the game’s default ripply wavy hair style with this one. Standalone will not replace anything and just add itself as a CC for you to choose from in the horse tails category of Create a Pet.
Modders: While normally I allow recolors/remeshing this tail is NOT EDITABLE. This was the first alpha style CC I worked on for horses and at the time I didn’t understand the mesh wasn’t actually one cohesive piece, but is in fact a sphagetti mess held together by weight painting and the base game UV’s are bizarre for horse tails imo. So I turned it into a hot mess with oodles of texture strips and this is not a friendly thing to retexture, you probably can’t. You CAN use my texture provided and recolor that, using this mesh as a REQUIREMENT for your mod! That would work find as long as you’re not changing texture, just the color the tails come in. 🙂
You may notice the tails are one uniform color instead of realistically varied. If you change anything it will appear on many parts of the tail, that is why. It’s fine for fantasy though and better than some vanilla clay goo.
