Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland revealed with trailer

Okay, we’re probably more excited about this one than we should be, but Wallride Games and Limited Run Games have just announced Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland. And they’ve done so with a trailer in hand. 

You’re probably familiar with the Rugrats, and if you’re not, very soon you will be. Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland will see you joining Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil on a wild journey full of imagination and wonder.

It’s a game that will let you invite a baby buddy or go solo. From there, you’ll get to take in a level-based, co-op adventure inspired by classic retro titles of the NES era. It’s just that this one will be juiced up with modern game design.. 

In Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland you’ll get to power through high-speed chases, sneak around as a baby-stack trench coat, and destroy buildings on TV as Reptar! You’ll also be able to meet familiar faces including Angelica, Cynthia and Spike along the way, and take a trip down memory lane. The latter will be thanks to stunning hand-drawn animations reminiscent of the original TV classic. Alternatively there will be the chance to enjoy the adventure in a nostalgic 8-bit style.

Wil you take up the mantle and guide a band of infant heroes as they unleash mischief on the world? We will be!

Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland is the first title from a multi-game partnership between The MIX Games and Paramount. The MIX Games will publish fresh neo-retro games with classic mechanics built for today’s gamers both independently and in collaboration with awesome creative teams.
