Super Mario Bros. Wonder power-up details and screenshots shared

Nintendo Japan has been putting together articles featuring new and old details of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. The newest of those articles is available today, and its focus is on the game’s many power-ups. Of course, there are returning power-ups like the Fire Flower, but there are a few new ones as well.

Elephant Mario

• Elephant Mario can swing his trunk in order to attack enemies or break multiple blocks
• You can swing your trunk while dashing, which will hit anything in your path
• Use your trunk to suck up water and spray it in various locations (such as on talking flowers)
• Elephant Mario can dash across gaps that are two blocks wide, and can still use pipes

Bubble Mario

• Bubble Mario can blow bubbles which trap enemies if they run into them
• Bubbles can also be used to jump on in order to reach higher platforms
• Bubbles will seek out enemies, including ones behind walls

Drill Mario

• The drill helmet protects you from enemies jumping on your head from above
• Use the drill to dig through breakable blocks and travel underground like a mole
