Mad Dog Series! LaserDisc Retro Games – VA Birthday Special 2023

Time for a special stream; it’s my birthday! We take a look back at some of my favorite laserdisc games. We start off with the Mad Dog series; it’s a western-style on-rails light gun game in full live action. This was supposed to be the future of gaming. I remember going to the arcade as a kid and seeing the original machine for Mad Dog McCree. The game looked too complicated for my young self to play. It’s based on memorization, and there are even some parts where you need a watchful eye to shoot specific items of interest or choose the right path. The sequel has several different stories and directions you can take. It was a pain to set this up for the stream, so enjoy the laughs; it was definitely worth it to play these again.
