Xbox Gameplay Chart — Nov 19, 2023 — Starfield soars back into top ten
Fortnite and Call of Duty remain in first and second place, followed by Minecraft in third, GTA V in fourth, and Roblox in fifth. The first big change isn’t until Starfield, which has managed to climb back into the top ten, landing in sixth place. Starfield is one of the ten The Game Awards 2023 nominees you can play today with Game Pass, but it received just one nomination, and not for Game of the Year either.
Our latest poll asks for your thoughts on whether Starfield should have been nominated for Game of the Year as well as Best RPG. Either way, the game’s reappearance in this week’s chart is likely due not to any Game Awards discussion in particular but to its inclusion in the latest Game Pass Weekly Quests.
It’s a pretty stationary chart this week, although we see a small wave of games moving up the chart from Red Dead Redemption 2 at 21st to Wild Hearts at 28th. The next big change is Dead Space, which has dropped nine places from 21st to 30th. It’s been available for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers for a good few weeks now, so it’s likely players are moving on to something else. Party Animals, another Game Pass addition that’s a bit older now, has likewise fallen from 27th to 33rd.
Then we have this week’s only new appearance at 34th: Coral Island, which launched in full for Xbox Series X|S and Game Pass last week (it had previously been available for PC Game Pass in Game Preview). Rounding up this week’s chart are two reappearances with Grounded at 39th (the game had a big update last week) and Call of Duty: Black Ops III at 40th.
Looking ahead, we still have a week or so of November releases, including a few additions on our big list of all the upcoming Game Pass games.
