Turnip Boy delays his bank robbery for Game Pass launch next year

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank was initially set to launch into Xbox Game Pass this year, but a new trailer confirms it will now launch early in 2024 on January 18. Check out the trailer below. “Everyone’s favorite turnip is coming back, and this time he’s joining the Pickled Gang to commit the biggest bank heist in history,” Graffiti Games says. “Shake down hostages, steal precious valuables, battle the fuzz, and use wacky tools bought off the dark web to move further into the vaults of the Botanical Bank. However, bank robbing isn’t easy, so be prepared for intense shootouts with security guards, the fuzz, elite swat teams and more!”

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank was one 2023 launch we were looking forward to on our list of all the upcoming Game Pass games, but at least we still won’t have long to wait. In the meantime, if you’re looking to learn more, check out our Turnip Boy Robs a Bank interview with developer Snoozy Kazoo’s studio head Yukon Wainczak.

What’s more, Xbox Game Pass adds ten more games soon, including Far Cry 6. On the other hand, that means Game Pass loses four games in December too.

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion was a hit when it shadow-dropped on Game Pass in 2022, and left Game Pass just this October. We’ll keep an eye out for more news on Turnip Boy’s crimes.
