Description
A simple replacement i whipped up in an afternoon because i was dissatisfied with having HD/UHD versions of both the pre-rendered cutscenes and in game textures but nothing to improve the noticeably low quality loading screens. I used a mix of upscaling and manual touchups in Adobe Photoshop to improve the image and used Vegas to recreate the flickering effect to achieve a higher quality 4k loading screen from the highly compressed 720p original.
Though not required I highly recommend using this mod alongside a mod that improves the pre-rendered cutscenes such as Asylum 4K or Neural 1080p Enhanced Cutscenes.
Versions
Alongside a standard version of the loading screen and another with reduced flickering, there are also 1080p versions of each intended for those who may prefer the smaller download size and/or may not be playing on 4k displays.
Installation
- Download the preferred version of the mod and extract the .zip archive
- Drag the “BmGame” folder found in the downloaded archive into the main Batman Arkham Asylum folder
