January’s TrueAchievements Targets announced
Please note: You can join these Targets now, but you won’t start earning towards them until the month actually begins in your region.
January Target 1 — New Year, New Games
Start 1+ new games in January.
If you were fortunate enough to receive a haul of new games for the holidays, January is the time to crack them open and see what all the fuss is about.
The Target tiers are:
- Bronze — 1 game
- Silver — 2 games
- Gold — 3 games
January Target 2 — Backwards Day
Earn 5+ achievements in games with the Backwards Compatible feature.
January 31st is National Backwards Day (no, really), and to celebrate that we want you to earn achievements in Backwards Compatible games.
The Target tiers are:
- Bronze — 5 achievements
- Silver — 10 achievements
- Gold — 15 achievements

January Target 3 — Page Turner
Earn 5+ achievements with the Main Storyline flag.
With the days short and the nights long (although your hemisphere-related mileage may vary), it’s time to spend some proper time with a good story-related game.
The Target tiers are:
- Bronze — 5 achievements
- Silver — 10 achievements
- Gold — 15 achievements
