The Lost Crown will run 4K/120fps on Xbox Series X

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown brings a fresh twist to the franchise on January 18, offering us a platforming action-adventure with a new protagonist, Sargon. Ahead of the game’s launch, Ubisoft has now revealed the console performance we can expect, and the game’s Xbox file size has been uncovered.

A recent blog post on Ubisoft’s website reveals that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown can run up to 4K/120fps if you have a compatible HDMI 2.1 TV or gaming monitor, while the Xbox Series S achieves 1440p/60fps. As for the Xbox One X, you’ll be able to run the game at 4K/60fps, while the base Xbox One sports 1080p/60fps.

As spotted by Idle Sloth on X, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has a file size of around 24.67GB on the Xbox Series X. It’s unclear how large the installations will be on the other Xbox consoles, however, but we’ll update this story if it’s revealed ahead of January 18.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown puts you in the shoes of Sargon, a young member of the Immortals who is on a mission to save the prince. Your adventure will take you to Mount Qaf, a mythological world where the rules of time and space have no value. It’s filled with treasures to find, puzzles to solve, and of course, enemies to defeat. Using twin blades, a bow, and time powers, you’ll need to explore numerous biomes to defeat time-corrupted enemies and mythological creatures as you race to save the heir to the Persian throne.

If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber and don’t fancy an adventure with Sargon, Ubisoft will be adding Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to the service later this month. It’s just one of eight games joining Game Pass in January.
