New Xbox hardware coming this year – WGB

During the special Xbox Podcast in which Matt Booty, Sarah Bond and Phil Spencer attempted to squash rumours and address the future plans of Xbox, including four games going to PlayStation and Switch, an interesting tidbit was dropped: new hardware is coming this year.

“There’s some exciting stuff coming out in hardware that we’re going to share this holiday,” Sarah Bond said.

This will certainly add fuel to the fires of speculation. Just a short while ago there were rumours of Xbox greenlighting several new pieces of hardware, and even some reports that they are working on a handheld device.

We also know that Xbox has been developing refreshed versions of both the Series S and Series X, though those leaked plans are reasonably old by this point.
