Servers for two Xbox games will close in April 2024

While players scramble to get through the ten server closures planned for this month, it’s time to look ahead to April 2024’s Xbox server closures. To give you plenty of time to organize your achievement-hunting efforts, we’ve listed all the confirmed server closures for April below.

Thankfully, you don’t have too many games to worry about. Just two games will lose online support in April. If we catch wind of any more server closures between now and April, we’ll add them to this list.

Upcoming Xbox server closures in April 2024

The first game you may want to prioritize is Madden NFL 20, as servers for the legacy American football game are due to close on April 15. From what we can tell, just six achievements will be discontinued once the server closure hits — thankfully, they all look pretty straightforward to unlock. Madden NFL 20 has been delisted from the Xbox store, so if you do want the completion, you’ll have to pick up a physical copy.

As for Warface: Breakout, servers will close on April 30. As this is an online-only game, all achievements will be discontinued once the servers go dark, so if you haven’t started this one, you may want to get a move on. According to estimates, unlocking all achievements in the first-person shooter will take between 20 and 25 hours. Warface: Breakout was once a Games with Gold title, so it’s possible you may already have the game in your Xbox library. If you want the completion, you may want to set up or join a Warface: Breakout Gaming Session to work through the achievement list with other TA members.

In other server closure news, EA recently confirmed it will shut down online services in Super Mega Baseball 2 later this year.
