Microsoft confirms more Xbox 360 sales are coming before July store closure
More Xbox 360 sales confirmed for June and July
In a post on Xbox Wire, Microsoft says it wants to “celebrate the legacy of Xbox 360” before the 360 store shutdown in July. To do that, Microsoft says it is “working with our amazing publishing partners to bring you as many price reductions from our online store or from the Xbox 360 Store on the console.”
Along with the 60+ games already discounted, Microsoft says it will update the sale with more games on June 18, 2024, and July 16, 2024, to bring “as many repriced games as possible before the end of July.”
Microsoft also notes that “price reductions will remain in place for each game” until the 360 store closes.
Xbox fans have been asking for discounts on Xbox 360 games ever since it was announced that the Xbox 360 store would close in July, so this is a great move from Microsoft. Fingers crossed we get some more bargains on some of those digital-only 360 titles that will disappear for good once the store shuts down.
