Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition coming to Xbox next week
Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition launches for Xbox on June 25
Ubisoft announced the remaster’s release date in a Twitter post, which appears to have gone live a little earlier than planned, as the publisher has now deleted the tweet.
Late last year, Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition suffered a massive Microsoft Store leak, which allowed some fans to play the beloved action-adventure game early. According to a leaked store listing, the remaster will support visuals running up to 4K/60fps and feature improved audio and controls. It also adds new content, such as a new treasure hunt, speedrun mode, and a special anniversary gallery.
Ubisoft plans to reveal more about Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition during the Limited Run Games Showcase, which airs today (June 20) at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST.
In the past couple of days, Ubisoft has sadly delisted the game’s first remaster, Beyond Good & Evil HD, from the Microsoft Store.
